A Little About Zach
My background is in Information Technology. I used to be the tech support guy who makes sure your email runs smoothly and fixes your computer.
But I’ve had a passion for Direct Response Copywriting ever since I started reading Gary Halbert and started hand-copying his letters starting in late 2014. That’s right, I not only took Halbert’s handwriting challenge but I also learned effective copy through the Copy Hour intensive handwriting training program. I learned from the Old-School copywriters who wrote some of the best-selling and highest-converting letters to date.
At first, getting my start in professional copywriting was slow-going without a solid client base or experience in the field.
So, from my Denver apartment, I decided to start some side projects to hone my copywriting skills and build up my portfolio.
Though I wont be posting them here, if you would like to see examples of some of projects I can make them available to you.
As a preview, I can list some of the results I’ve gotten. For example, my landing page conversion rate was about 8% with traffic directed from Facebook Advertising. Additionally, most of my emails had an open rate of about 6-12%. My Facebook Advertising click through rates were all above industry average as well.
